Pollyanna, you would make a super Pearl Fisher! I would not be surprised if they dive for more than 4 minutes.
Do I see pearls on your neck? Listen to this beautiful music dedicated to those Pearl Fishers:

Hi everyone, I have been learning so much from each of you. I feel so much privileged. May be, it is a dumb question, but, how or where can I find the duration of my apnea episodes?

You're going to have to buy a new machine first. IntelliPAP AutoAdjust doesn't record that info even with that $150 software/cable package

Are you monitoring your data yet, Polly? What is your CPAP data NOW showing as to breath-holding times when you have apneas? If there is no significant improvement over your lab breath-hold results, I'd not waste a moment getting another appt. with your sleep doc. Beside that, there are other variables; like is your leakage at 20 or under if you use Resmed's equipment, what's your AHI averaging over 5-day periods? What's the ratio of your central apneas to your Obstructive apneas? Tell your doc about these number and if you'd like, post them here for comments. Plenty of folks here will give you some good relevant observations and suggestions. Then you can more informatively discuss these matters with your doc.

Good luck to you. It takes time and lots of adjustments and adaptability, but this stuff works for most of us here.

Thanks, Cosmo. Which one would be the suitable machine to purchase, then? One more question: Since I started using a wider range of pressure setting (3-15 cm/4-15 cm/5-15 cm) as suggested by Mr Burkebang, the minimum pressure does not change whole night and resultant AHI numbers remain not much different. The pressure graph is always a perfect straight line parallel to the axis.

The minimum line is probably the exhalation relief line. The ResMed and PR System 1 machines both give data that is more useful. You should probably create a new thread for your questions so others can see it and chime in. As I am just starting out myself.

very informative thread. Iam waiting to upload mine and see where Iam standing. However, leak is a major issue for me.
