ResScan Version 3.7 Software

I have been considering buying ResScan Version 3.7 Software. In the US it is very pricy. There is an Australian source online that is much more reasonable. Has anyone out there used from the US purchased from this source. Is it legitimate and is there any problem with software support in the US? Thanks.

I'm confused what you are asking. I think maybe you left a word or two out of your question sentence.

It is my understanding that ResMed doesn't want it sold to end users in the USA. Probably due to legal reasons. Consequently if one were to get a copy, I doubt that there would be any support unless you were an approved clinic.

I've had no problem using the Rescan version 3.7 I bought from Australia (http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au). It was a lot cheaper and the service was good. I don't think you'll get support here in the US either; unless you're a professional/doc/clinic. Just remember that the currency conversion to US dollars will give you the true savings.

I heard that ResMed is cracking down on customers obtaining the ResScan software and cpap.com is having troubles obtaining product. Any suggestions on were I might get the software?

Ah, I was wondering why cpap.com didn't seem to have copies of the software anymore.

Buzz, I found it at http://thecpapshop.com. It's actually slightly cheaper than here at cpap.com. I've been waiting on getting it along with a card reader, but perhaps I should get it before I no longer can! I was waiting because of $$ and because I wanted to see if this (3.7) or a newer version would support Windows 7. I was also waiting for cpap.com to get it back in stock, so I could have them price match.

I just called them, as I placed my order on 6/16 and hadn't received an email re shipping. They say the software is backordered and that Resmed has always been slow to supply this product. They see no reason, however, why they should not be able to fulfill my order. Fingers crossed that I can actually get the software!

I just called them and they said it is on backorder still. I didnt want to submit my order as they charge your card right away and sometimes you have to wait weeks to get the procduct...

The gentleman then told he "didnt know why I would want it as I am not going to understand the information that it is going to show me anyway?? Will I ?

Im a newbie...been on my machine for 7 days now.. I luckily found your site before I got my order for the DME and intervened with my doctor and made him write the prescription for a ResMed S8 Elite II wih an H4i humidifier. I would like to get the software because my GP told me he does not have a reader, if he doesnt have a reader who is going to keep track of what is going on with me..... I already know the answer to that... I will.

What do you all think? Will the software be beneficial for me to have?

Yes! You can get the software for about half the price at CPAP Australia. http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au/shoppin ... 31305.html. You can't order it off the web, however, and you have to call them on the phone. I got the software for $99 + $20 shipping AUD, which ended up being just under $99USD total. Don't buy the card reader from them, as it is more expensive. I got mine from cpap.com.

I've just been using the software for a couple days, but I've been able to see I have a bigger leak problem than the LCD data from my Elite II led me to believe.
