Blue light on humidifier blinking off and on

I have a REM star Plus M series with humidifier. The blue light keeps blinking off and on. Has this happened to anyone?

It hasn't happened to me, but I have the same machine, and the flashing blue light is an indicator that your humidifier is not working properly for some reason. Page 19 of the humidifier manual states a blinking blue light means one of the following is true:
  • -there's no communication between the machine and the humidifier
-the machine is not seated properly on the platform
    -the heater plate isn't heating
Make sure the humidifier and machine are seated well and that the power is connected properly. If there's still a problem, contact your DME or Respironics. In the meantime, your humidifier will work in "passover" mode. You'll still get some humidity, but it won't be heated.
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

You could also try pulling out your smartcard (if you have one) and see if this problem stops

The only time I noticed that light blinking, I unplugged and reseated the power connector to the humidifier and the light came on solid.

The OSA patient died quietly in his sleep.
Unlike his passengers who died screaming as the car went over the cliff...
