I've searched & read nearly every thread here on both models (and many other options as well). I've pretty well decided on one of these two, but I'm having a hard time picking just one.
The breakdown as I see it:
Wristox 3100:
Pros: Small, perhaps less obtrusive to sleep
Cons: $200 more expensive, uses stupid N-cell batteries that are expensive and hard to find locally, potentially fragile
Palmsat 2500:
Pros: Cheaper, uses AA batteries, potentially more durable
Cons: Bulky, needs a longer sensor, one more cable to deal with
Cost is not a huge factor, the extra $200 would be nice to have but it's certainly not a deal breaker. It's FSA money anyway so it doesn't feel like real money. But I'm not looking to blow it just because I can.
Anybody have one but wish they'd gotten the other?
Nonin Wristox 3100 vs Palmsat 2500?
Re: Nonin Wristox 3100 vs Palmsat 2500?
I don't own either. If I were buying, I'd likely buy the Palmsat 2500. My sleep doc loaned me one (Respironics label) with an Auto for data gathering. I used the Nonin 8000J-WO sensor (finger wrap keeps sensor in place on end of finger); thought it'd be awkward but it wasn't, 'course I don't move around much at night. But I gotta admit that wrist one is sweet.

Re: Nonin Wristox 3100 vs Palmsat 2500?
Is there a thread somewhere that compares them to the (~$150-$230) CMS50 and CMS60 series units?
