Any Ideas to get the Opus 360 to work????

Post by FatiguedMe » Thu Nov 05, 2009 12:44 pm

Hi,
I got my Opus yesterday. HAHA I waited too late last night to really get it to fit. I need HELP! Any and all suggestions are welcome. I really want this to work, because the airflow thru the pillows is awesome. I ordered with no return Ins, so I am really wanting to give this a go. Also any suggestions of modification would be much appreciated.
Is that little frame suppose to lay flat on my face? Also what is the secret to adjusting the straps?
I have the swift LT for her, which is ok, but the pillows really wear out fast! Plus the difference in airflow between this and the Opus is so different.
Thank you sooooo much,
Susan

You can see Opus fitting videos on http://www.vigor8.com, which is Fisher and Paykel's user support site. I found it more helpful than the diagram. The video also specifically mentions adjusting the side straps - something the diagram ignores.

While ResMed expects you to have the writing on top, the F&P pillows are set properly in the frame when the large size indicator letter is at the bottom.

(If the video link above doesn't work, you can find the video on this page: http://www.vigor8.com/product-opus-482.html)

Thank you Ozij,
I turned the pillows and the letter is facing my face. This is the correct way? I tried it on and it is working! Now the real test will be tonight when I sleep with it.
A little funny, I am caregiver for my mother. She is 80 and she is in a wheelchair. Welllll she rolls up to the door and sees me laying there with my mask on. She asks me isn't there something you can take for that? ROFLLL!!! Needless to say laughing with pillows on, while machine is running sounds really funny! She made my day LOL!
Thank you for the links, I am gonna check those out.
