You need to try something like Lanisoh Lanolin (nipple cream for nuring mothers found in the baby department). You just need a very small amount around the entrance to your nostrils. KY gel will also do it. Do NOT use anything with a petroleum base. It can damage the material in your mask pillows. You can use a small bit during the day too until your nostrils toughen up!

Dear Whitney,

I just slept with the Swift FX for the first time last night. I use AYR gel, just gently a little dab on a q-tip inside of my nostrils. I also use the Lansinoh Lanolin ointment on the outside of my nares, just a tiny bit just before I put on the mask to go to sleep. The Lansinoh Lanolin is just a bit tacky, so that when it is joined to the nasal pillow it immediately makes a nice seal. Sorry you were so sore this morning. Hope tomorrow is better.

Your friend,

Jersey Girl
