HELP with ResMed C-Series Tango CPAP Machine

Post by me2'sant » Sun Aug 15, 2010 5:40 am

Does anyone know how to get service in Ontario Canada on weekends or off hours? We got an system error 1019 on one of our machines last night and I haven't had any luck getting help. My response so far has been wait until Monday as it is not an emergency. My husband's machine had the error and he is set at 15; mine is only set at 7 so my next question is can i reset mine to work at 15 for him so he can get sleep until his is fixed?

Yes, you can set your machine to his pressure. Let us know what machine you are using (brand and model) and someone will come along and help you with that.

I have not found any help available on weekends or after hours for cpap machine problems in Ontario Canada. I only tried once, years ago. I don't think they consider it an emergency. Most DMEs in Ontario also suppy oxygen equipment. I think you can get emergency service for the oxygen but not for cpap.

Can you change the subject of your post to say "Help with Resmed Tango C Series" ? That might draw more attention to it. I don't have a link to get the manual for you,but someone else will. Just keep on checking back.

I called Medigas and ResMed and both told me that it wasn't an emergency in Canada so I would have to wait until Monday. I am wondering where I would find the clinician manual to change my machine to help out my husband for tonight. Any suggestions?

I finally figured it out on my own. I pushed buttons until I was blue in the face
If anyone needs to know for their ResMed C-Series Tango CPAP Machine to adjust the pressure - leave plugged in and press together the humidity up and down arrows and hold until you see P. (and a number) then use the up and down arrows to adjust the pressure. Then press the on/off button to accept the desired pressure.
My husband will get a good nights sleep tonight. I will get his fixed tomorrow.
Thank you to all who helped me find a solution today.
Good luck to all CPAP users!

Thank you. I read this post a few days ago, but for the past few days it did not respond as indicated. Tried again just now and it actually worked, wow.

Yes,

Pushing Up and down buttons for a while
put the system in the setup mode.

BUT BE CAREFULL, since excessive pressure
or insufficient pressure may be both harmful
to the patient.

Thank you so much. After a few tries I was able to reset it to hopefully a better pressure for me. This is the only site that was helpful!

For those interested in such archaic things, here is a link to the User Manual for this machine.
ResMed C-series Tango User Guide

And here is the clinical guide:

They seem to have been published in about 2012.
The machine was discontinued in 2011.

I have the resmed c-series tango machine. It has stopped working giving me a (E003) code every time. What does that code mean and how do I fix it?
