Blepharoplasty!!!!!!
Blepharoplasty!!!!!!
This is about the last thing that I thought would happen to me. I had an eye infection that my internal med doc didn't think was getting better fast enough. He sent me to an eye specialist and the thing I am looking for is advice regarding this. The eye doc says that I need the above procedure, that it is a medical necessity. I have been reading a little bit about the surgery and aftercare and I think I will need a different type of mask. Something that doesn't put pressure up by my eyes while I am recovering from this deal. I tried one type of nasal pillows once and they just don't seem to work. My pressure varies from 12 to 15. I am a 63 year old male.
Re: Blepharoplasty!!!!!!
What brand of nasal pillows did you try? There are so many out there. Maybe you can try a few more before this surgery and find the best of the crop for you. I tried 2 different ones before I found the one that works. So the right ones may still be out there. I wish I had found these right off the bat but did not. As with this whole thing it is trial and error.

The nasal pillows I have tried are Respironics Optilife.
Re: Blepharoplasty!!!!!!
I know of one person on hand that absolutely loves that mask. Me, it was used during my titration and I came home with it. It was quickly replaced with the Swift LT and now I used the Swift FX, even less stuff on my face. Read up on those and see if they look promising for you. The Swift FX is the newer of the 2. Seems people either love it or hate it, not much in between. Very quiet compared to LT which wasn't all that loud but FX is very quiet.chronic wrote:The nasal pillows I have tried are Respironics Optilife.
