CPAP wipes vs. Clorox disinfecting wipes
CPAP wipes vs. Clorox disinfecting wipes
I was wondering if anyone has used the clorox wipes for their supplies? They are easier to buy and cheeper then the CPAP wipes, But I don't know if it is a harsher chemical and will break down the mask faster.

First, I think you need to define what process you're interested in-- "cleaning" or "disinfecting".kroppdf wrote:I was wondering if anyone has used the clorox wipes for their supplies? And if you're only interested in "cleaning", then maybe dropping 14 bucks on Citrus II wipes might be a little steep.

I would not recommend using Clorox Wipes as the bleach would be too harsh to either disinfect or clean. I have been using baby wipes. They are gentle, fragrance free and alot cheaper than CPAP Wipes.

Yes does one really want to stick those chemicals on ones face?

Right, and what amounts to cleaning a mask with what probably is citrus-scented water vs. a disinfecting agent-- and agreed, anything that qualifies as a disinfectant would probably need a water-rinse.BlackSpinner wrote:NotMuffy wrote:OK, which Clorox wipe you talkin' "bout?

If they sold it for what it really is, they'd be lucky to get 2.99 (BTW, that's what 100 BnzChlor wipes cost).
Once they become "Special" Wipes, it's "hosed" again.

I am looking for something that I can bring with me when I go camping or away for work. Especially when traveling for work I don't have time to let the equipment air dry all day.
