Hello! I am a Swift FX user and am at the 6 month point where my insurance will pay for another mask. After trying a few FFM's I am thinking that maybe nasal pillows are what work best for me. So now I am wondering whether to just get a new Swift FX or what. I would like somethign different, so I can switch off to a different mask from time to time. I am considering a nasal mask. But then I saw the Mirage Swift II nasal pillow mask and would like to hear people's opinions on that versus the Swift FX. THe Mirage Swift II has a very high review rating on cpap.com.
Thank you,
Jill

Re: Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillow CPAP vs. Swift FX
I have tried quite a few different nasal pillow masks. The one I always come back to is the Mirage Swift II.I like that it holds snugly to my face, also, the pillows are single layered. I have had problems with the pillows that have dual walls. They collapse on me.

I'm not a VPAP user, but hopefully others who are will chime in. I'm not certain you can use the Swfit Nasal pillows with VPAP's--something about the feedback mechanism that affects your breathing????
Please let me know if I'm incorrect. I might be.

Re: Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillow CPAP vs. Swift FX
Hi, Janknitz,
Wow, I had not heard that!! I pulled out my user's manual and under recommended masks, it lists the Swift LT but not FX. But I also see, online, that my machine is no longer availalbe. I do not know why. I don't know if the S8 VPAP Auto has replaced it? I think I may call cpap.com to see if they can answer some of these questions for me. Anyone else have another recommendation??
Thank you!
Jill

Re: Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillow CPAP vs. Swift FX
I asked the question of the folks at cpap.com and they told me that all machines are compatible with all masks.
