Anyone have experience with Millet AND Buckwheat combo pillo
I see there are double sided pillows made with Buckwheat on one side and Millet on the other side ... seems like the best of both worlds .... Anyone tried one of these ?

I have one coming tomorrow for my husband, the Japanese size. I will let you know what he thinks of it and may give it a try myself.

I found this site but don't know anything about them. It sounds like a great idea as I'm still on the hunt for the perfect pillow for my husband. Louise, where did you purchase yours?

I am using the standard size all buckwheat pillow and the buckwheat/millet pillow for hubby is coming tomorrow. I bought it from beans 72.com. They are sold on Ebay and Amazon also by the company itself. The price is the same no matter where you purchase it. With shipping I think mine was $54.
It is a very heavy pillow. Once you put it on the bed, you just move the buckwheat, not the pillow itself. I can even sleep on my back without a backache. You can get the pillow w/wo lavender. I bought my own lavender and added it myself.

The description on the Amazon.com site says:
"Our Duplex Pillow combines the best of two worlds! Imagine a pillow with two parallel chambers. One side holds the smooth and velvety millet hull filling; the other side has the coarse and airy buckwheat hull filling. Try them at your leisure and then keep the filling you like best on top. For centuries Asian health specialists and healers have been aware of the benefits that come with sleeping on buckwheat hulls whereas pillows with millet hulls have been used in Europe for hundreds of years. The small size and uneven shape of buckwheat hulls and the smooth and velvety feel of the tiny millet hulls make them perfect pillow fillings: There is a constant shifting of the hull material as you move while air freely passes through the filling. This constant ventilation of hull pillows keeps them fluffy and fresh. Regular use of the hull pillow with its complete support for head and neck will soothe muscle tensions, offer relief from shoulder/neck tightness, and help prevent headaches. The buckwheat hull and millet hull filling will adjust itself to the individual form and weight of your head to provide important spinal alignment. Our buckwheat hulls and millet hulls are grown and harvested right here in the United States without any pesticides or fumigation chemicals. We manufacture, fill, and package all our pillows in our immaculate warehouses in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our Duplex Pillows will have a life span of a minimum of 10 years. They are made with unbleached cotton and have double seams to counter the weight of the hull filling and prevent wear-out. Hull Pillows are temperate, which means they do not naturally take on heat or cold. Our hulls are 99% dust free. The process of dust ventilation separates 99% of all dust particles, the remaining residue of the millet seeds and buckwheat flower, and all foreign matter from the hulls. They are thus clean, hypo-allergenic, and perfect for use as pillow fillings."
I think I might buy one...
