IntelliPAP AutoAdjust Travel CPAP Machine with SmartFlex

I am very physically distressed the DeVilbiss IntelliPAP AutoAdjust Travel CPAP Machine with SmartFlex . I have been on a Responics Systom one with no problems. I ordered the DeBilbiss for travel. I could feel the air in my chest and felt as if I would explode. I did read manual and watch video. I only received yesterday. Customer Service will not let me return and said they could change adjustments over telephone, I don't want to go through this again. I went back on old CPA and everything works well. I am contesting on my charge card and will purchase another Responics. I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

That's a VERY popular machine. Sorry to hear you're having issues with it. It would help if you'd register on this site and provide some additional information.

For example, what were the settings on your previous machine?
What were the settings on the new machine?

Are you using the same MASK on both machines?

It sounds likely that your Intellipap is not adjusted to the same settings as your previous machine. I have the Intellipap Auto and used a Respironics machine before I got it and I love the Intellipap.

If you would take the time to register properly and log into the forum, you could then fill in your profile by going to the Edit Equipment tab and choosing your gear from the pull down menus. Also, by logging in and being a full member, we can communicate more fully and utilize PM's with you.

We need more info as yardbird has said. The Intellipap is an excellent machine, and you clearly have some problems using it for any number of reasons. Do not disparage the brand/machine until we have a chance to help you get it properly set up and working in your favor. Please let us know what your pressure settings are and if you are utilizing the SmartFlex and i and eRounding settings. I have had my Intellipap over a year and have had excellent therapy from it. You must work to get this right, but until you register and log in, we are very limited in our abiltity to communicate.
