I happened to see an advertisement for the NasalAire II interface. The ad claimed that you can eat, drink and speak while wearing it.
Here's my question. Surely they mean eat, drink and sleep while the CPAP machine is turned off, right? I don't have my machine yet but based on the experience of my titration study I certainly can't talk well and I can't imagine how you would drink or eat. Is there a trick that I don't know about? Seems weird.
Eating, Drinking and Talking
CPAP is made for sleeping, I don't eat or drink or speak in my sleep (I think) so according to the ad, I must not need a NasalAire II interface.
Does it also say you can go horseback riding and swimming with it?

I use the Nasal Aire ll and yes you can drink with it. I often need drinks of water at night and I can do this with the NAll. The NAll will however "ripple" your water due to the placement of the exhaust. I can "speak" but it is very distorted and uncomfortable. I would not ever attempt eating with the NAll. I just don't feel that this is an option for me. Hope this helps.
