Go to cpap.com and click on CPAP Machines. You can read reviews for each machine there and the software even allows a comparison of the various PAPs.

Look for a data capable machine. Beyond that they are all pretty much the same. Mask wise, it's whatever works for you. Everyone has a different comfort level and requirements. Cpap.com has reviews of machines and masks. If you have a dme in my experience, they are all kinda brand specific. Like when you go to a restaurant and they only have coke products. that could just be the 3 dmes in my area though. Good luck

Yes, I'm married to man with a bad case of narcolepsy. And yup, I have 3 kids under age 4... Adding OSA just seemed like the right thing to do!

Thanks a lot for the replies. I'll check out CPAP.com . Really appreciate it
Re: Review of CPAP machines and Masks
By "data capable" we mean EFFICACY data. Do not accept a machine without AHI AND leak data. My blog has a list of which machines have EFFICACY data. I do need to update it for two new Philips Respironics machines. I recommend against the IQ model because it acts as an APAP for only 30 days--silly if you later need to test your settings.
So be sure to check for EFFICACY data once you've narrowed down your choice of machines.
