I do better with the humidifier turned OFF. I don't know why it stuffs me up. It does.
Other things I find that help are:
Drink water before bedtime. Hydrate.
Neti pot
Vicks inhaler
sudafed
I don't always use all of them, but that's what works. It's pollen season and I like sleeping with the windows open.

Just a word of caution..... Watch the Sudafed. To make a long story short, I don't have any blockages but I'm being treated by a Cardiologist for atrial fibrillation and he's told me no more sudafed as it increases your BP and your heart rate both of which are bad. He suggested that if you needed something to open you up to take an Antihistamines like Zyrtec but don't take Sudafed or any other OTC drug that has a caution on the label that cautions about high blood pressure.

Last night I left my S9's humidity setting at 2.5. I went to bed again breathing OK and woke up breathing OK at 5:30 AM. The only thing I noted was that my throat was a kind of dry. I think I'm going to ramp it up to 3.0 and see if there's any improvement.

sudafed (the "real" stuff from behind the counter) is the only thing that will relieve my sinus headaches. I understand the cautions about BP and heart rate. Is it addictive like Afrin?

Just an idea, but OSA doesnt cause everything wrong. Sometimes there are other problems: d3/magnesium issues, allergies, syndromes like fibromyalgia, leaky gut, allergens, food problems, adrenal problems, that can cause other asthma-type issues in the body. Ive eliminated almost all milk and MSG (processed food additive).

I also have an 02 concentrator. IF i lay back and breathe some 02 for about 20 minutes i clear right up.

There are also nasal steroids hitting the market.

I havnt tried nose irrrigation but thats next.

You know I have exactly the same problem. My nose blocks up through the night. My problem is allergy. Do you find when you lay on your left side the left nosteral blocks and when you lay on your right side the right side blocks up. I find i need to stay away from the grasses. I have someone come in now and do my lawns and shrubs. If so you are just like me and we both battle. I saw an ENT recently who seemed to understand my problem and said to me the only medicine that will control the problem is "NASONEX"

I find the Nasonex does a good job but here in Australia it just happenes to be one of the meds NOT on the free list. Perhaps it is marketed in the US under a different name.

One thing I have learned with CPAP is "nothing is perfect" we just battle on. Good luck and dont give up.

Your temperature seems a bit high to me. I believe it might be beneficial to try lowering it. I'm not using the Climateline hose with the hotter weather and have no clue what the temp of the air is that is reaching my face through the slimline hose, however, I run the humidity at setting 5.5. I'm extremely bothered by allergies that close up nasal passages so take Zyrtec and use Nasonex daily, and do a good sinus rinse with a netipot every evening. So far this season, knock on wood, have had no plugging up issues.

I hope you can get your issues under control quickly.
