Review - Pad a Cheek - Mask Liners

Post by STL Mark » Tue Jun 26, 2012 10:28 pm

As I was washing my $16 Pad a Cheek mask liner today and realizing how perfect it came out, I wanted to acknowledge how great that product has been. About 6 months ago I ordered two mask liners and have been using the same one on my Mirage Quattro mask over that time. I've never even removed the second liner from the packaging. Each time I wash the liner it comes back to like new condition. I appreciate this great product and the owner of the site that was helpful in answering my initial questions upon receipt of the product. Great customer service is something I appreciate and I will continue to buy from this vendor.

Don't frequently take time to write reviews, but I wanted to give credit where it was due.

Beats Remzzz's hand down as far as I'm concerned. Less than the cost of 1 months supply, and lasts several months! I've been using mine for over 9 months now. I have a backup, but like you, it's still in the original packaging.

Put me down for a year on two liners. I alternate them every week. They work as advertised. I just love them.

Ditto what Jeff said. I have 1 for my quattro and 2 for my hybrid, wouldn't wear a mask without one.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I use the one for the Mirage Quattro full face mask (my backup mask). I wash it in the washing machine and dry it on a rack, and it always comes out like new. I also have 2 that I alternate so that I don't have to worry about waiting for it to dry.

Great product - I recommend it every chance I get...

I also love the Pad-a-cheek liner. At first, I thought that it could only be used on a full face mask, but I bought one and tried it on my nasal mask, Activa Lt, and it works great. It keeps the red marks off the face, protects the nose bridge and helps stop some leaks. Great product!

I only have one and plan on ordering a backup. I love that it's soft and it dries very quickly! Can't imagine wearing the mask without it.

I love mine as well. I am getting another so I have a backup as well. I may even order the back of neck pad for the headgear. I dread thinking about sleeping without mine.

I just ordered a new mask liner from Karen that I'm going to use when I revisit the Mirage Quattro FF that we originally used. We stopped using it because of bad nose sores and leaking but we're encouraged by the good reviews of the liner. The other good news is that Karen is going to make me a new hose cover for the Slimline hose. The one we use is for the Standard hose and it's rather bulky and keeps sliding down. It's wonderful to be able to have such personal attention!

I just got mine yesterday and was eager to try it out.

I ended up with MORE aerophagia last night with the liner in, though leaks were down. I ended up waking up more often as a result. I like that it reduced leaks, but I don't like the way it covers my mouth. I tried cutting where indicated to make a larger hole for my nose in the middle of the night, but I was kind of paranoid to do more in the dark.

Do you leave the mask liner as is or have you enlarged the opening in the center? If so, how much?

Definitely cut a hole in it. I did it very carefully and then snipped off some more after a few nights. If I remember correctly, when I got the liner, the hole was quite small.
And it doesn't fray where it is cut either. Awesome product!

I just received mine in the mail today. I'm looking forward to using it with my Quattro tonight it feels better than the remzzzzzzzzzz. From what I'm reading I think I made a good choice. Alot cheaper than the Remzzz.I will give and update tomorrow.

Another very satisfied user here. I've been using my two liners for over a year. I'm pretty sure I would have given up on CPAP without the liner.

I installed the Pad a Cheek last night and used it and I have to say it works much better than the Remzzzs I had been using and cost less. Great product.
