We bought a tempurpedic mattress once and had to return it because my husband's back started killing him. He didn't have major back problems, so not sure why that was.

You need to find more honest or less gullible "friends."

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

People have been trying "medical magnets" for over 2000 years. Nobody's provided any evidence yet that they work. A lot of people have made a lot of money selling them, though.

You need to realize that if magnets actually did anything, even a few percent difference in anything, science would be all over it. However, when you test it in the lab on patients who don't know whether they've got the real thing or a placebo, they can't tell the difference. Magnets have been studied over and over and over. There have never been any reproducible results.

Google up medical magnet therapy quackery for many examples of very popular magnetic cures that turned out not to work.

Wondering if there is anyone out there with personal experience. I wouldn't mind doing the demo but the bedding is so expensive I really don't think I would put that kind of money into it. I don't mind spending $ on things that will promote health, but this just seems so iffy.
See my response below. I don't sell Nikken, just a satisfied customer
JO'M wrote:I've been sleeping on a Nikken mattress pad and with a comforter for about 15 yrs. I get my best sleep on the mattress (OSA notwithstanding)
I use some of the other products as well. Post knee replacement, I used a knee wrap and the CM cream. My surgeon was impressed with how quickly I healed.
I wear the "backflex" pretty much everyday, I have issues with my hip flexers and my sacrium.

Try them out and see if they help you out. Any consultant that I've dealt with always has products to loan out so you can try them.
Thanks for bring your post to my attention again. Your comments just might tempt me.

How long have you had that Select Comfort? I had one replaced under warranty and I had it for 5 years. I'd give them a call and ask, nothing to loose by asking.
Thanks! I have been in touch with a really good rep with Select Comfort. I have had it for longer than 5 years but they give discounts depending on how long you have owned it.

Thanks chunkyfrog! That's great! I initially thought I might try the system because my friend is so enthusiastic, but I'll just say "no thank you" instead!

What I know about Nikken is that the company is 37 years strong, helped over 40 million people and has over 25 billion in sales.
I have seen several peer reviewed studies including from Baylor in Houston, University of Virginia, University of New York, UCI Medical University and several others that stated that certain magnets have major benefit, including circulation increase and pain reduction.
I am prejudiced because they worked for me. What I have found is that nothing is 100% including medicine and surgery. I have also discovered that not all magnets are created equal. We all buy a lot of junk because of false advertising. In my case I was dealing with severe stenosis in my lower back. A friend suggested that I try magnets from Nikken. After using a Nikken back magnet flex pad and a pair of Nikken magstep shoe inserts my pain scale reduce from a 6 down to a 1 and now 0. Was it worth the $175 I spent, yes.
Companies that stay in business for 37 years stay in business for a reason.
My 2 cents.

Lots of people said the same thing about Jim Bakker.

Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC was in business for 47 years.

Psychics and faith healers have been in business for thousands of years, too.

There are many studies which have been published in peer reviewed journals showing magnetic therapy helps with pain, circulation, , sleep, moods and healing. I will be glad to send you the information. The rest of the world uses magnetic, infrared, and negative ion therapies for many conditions western medicine prescribes a life long prescription to some pill. If sleeping in a magnetic, infrared sleep system gives you relief and you never try it you will never know. Sounds like your friend has your best interest at heart. If I thought of someone as a friend and thy offered to help me, sounds like she's offering to lend the system to you, I'd be listening to my friend and not some anonymous voice on the internet.

You know, the more you spammers sign up and post here, the harm you do to the reputation of your company.

Just give it up and look for a more gullible message board to post your advertisements on.
