Thanks to whoever suggested athlete skull cap

Post by VikingGnome » Wed Dec 05, 2012 5:45 pm

I went to local sporting goods store. All I seemed to find were THERMAL skull caps to keep you warm. I was looking for "cool cap" that wicks wetness away and keeps your head cool while sleeping. I checked NIKI, UNDER ARMOR, and several other brands without success. Then in the very back of the ADIDAS rack, I found a Men's keep cool skull cap. It was too big for me with cap coming down to my eyebrows. So I check out the women's ADIDAS section and found ONE lonely "Women's fit" keep cool skull cap. It fit me perfectly. I can hardly wait to try it out. My Ruby adjustable should be here any day now. I'll let you'all know who it works after a few nights with the two (skull cap and Ruby chin strap). At least I know it will keep my hair from getting all tangled up in velcro.

It appears the "keep cool" caps are seasonal.
Too bad the local fabric stores all pimp to quilters, rather than apparel sewers,
because I would be looking for performance running wear stretch fabric.
