Hello Kitty

Just a thought... If you were to post what machine you have used for the last 6 years it might help others in narrowing their suggestions. The 3 main players here are Philips Respironics (System One'), Resmed (S9') and DeVilbiss (IntelliPAP').

I am still relatively new to the OSA treatment but you will need a "data capable" machine. I don't know what was out there for xpap treatment 6 years ago. So posting what you have been using would help others on the forum to guide you.

I believe all three of those mentioned by the previous poster are data capable. The data allows you to follow your treatment and adjust settings accordingly. I am sure others will give more complete answers.

Best of luck with whatever equipment you decide to use!

IntelliPAP doesn't give as much data as the other two.

And this is even after shelling out additional money to obtain more information than just AHI, number of hours slept, and percentile pressures.

Don't remind me.

I have that software/cable package that sells for $150. But it was discounted for $50 with machine purchase. Now I know how people with brick machine feels like

Sorry about that Cosmo

Maybe it is like dealing with a fancy brick?

The DeVilbiss may be good, but the better ResMed S9 and PRS1 machines have a very important advantage by recording airflow waveforms.

There's some recommendations on what to buy in the links in my signature line.

Anyone know if an S10 or some new version of the S9 is going to be coming out anytime?
