Maternity Pillow for side sleeping

Post by VikingGnome » Wed Jan 30, 2013 3:44 pm

Even at pressure 18, I have pretty bad AHI if sleeping supine. 75% of the time I sleep on my side (according to sleep study). But my data looks pretty ugly if I have a night of sleeping mostly on my back. So I bought a SNOOGLE Original total body pillow for pregnant women. It helps you stay on your side. It's only $48 at online TARGET with free delivery if you spend $50 so pick one more cheap item and shipping is free. It will be delivered about 2/5. I'll let you all know if it's comfortable and I can sleep all night with it. Also how it affects my VPAP data.

I noticed there are several total body pillows that specifically say that they are good for people with back pain and arms that go to sleep at night and not just pregnant women. SNOOGLE got the best reviews. BOPPY is another brand but apparently not very firm and goes flat before end of pregnancy. A lot of SNOOGLE owners use the same one for each pregnancy so can stand the test of time. And it has a zipper case that you can throw in the wash and you can buy replacement zipper cases for it.

It does take up a lot of bed real estate so if you have a bedmate, you might get a "MINI" (looks like a comma) which provides support for body side-sleeping and you use whatever pillow you want for your head.

Here's a generic one on Amazon with two sleepers using them. I assume they have a King size bed.

Ergonomically AND emotionally attractive.
The comfort is palpable. I might be falling in love.
