Where can I buy CPAP machine without prescription?

Hi!

This is gary yang from south Korea.
One of my friend recommanded cpap machine for my sleep apnea.
I thied to purchase the machine via cpap . com
but found that prescription is needed.
Actually it's not easy to get the prescription of sleep apnea here in Korea.
Does anybody inform me how or where I can buy cpap machine without prescription?
Someone said that the prescrip tion is not needed to purchase In Europe.
Pls tell me the shop's URL of cpap's authorized partners.

Welcome to the forum.

I would do a search of the forum for members mcdover and stlmark who have sold cpap machines to members in the past and don't require a prescription. I don't know about their policies regarding shipping overseas just as an FYI.

They are extremely reliable and do exactly what they say they will do.

I hit a wall on this myself recently. I had my sleep study in Thailand and live in the UAE. Buying from the USA and even rip-off Britain would be WAY cheaper than buying in the UAE, but no dice without a domestic prescription in that country. I am taking delivery of the Resmed S9 Auto tomorrow from a local hospital and paying an amount that I don't even want to think about..............

I believe that 1800cpap.com will ship overseas without prescription. Please check the link below, read the Q&A near the bottom. Their prices are reasonable, but you will have to pay for overseas shipping. Other online retailers may have similar policies (worth checking out). I hope this helps and you start treatment soon!

How much did that sleep study cost over there? Have you done any other medical treatments in Asia?

You could have a friend who uses CPAP in the US purchase a machine for you with their prescription, I can't think how that would break any laws, since we resell machines without seeing prescriptions? Alternatively, I know mcdover and STL Mark have great reputations on this forum for their used machines.

Hello, I have a very lightly used SleepStyle 600 Machine. Am I able to sell it on Ebay? I was shown some alert about selling CPAP from Ebay's Alert system but came up with nothing. I don't want my account to be discontinued or hurt because of wanting to sell this due too people needing prescriptions for it. Any info and where or how I could sell it, on Ebay or anywhere else would be great. Thank You.

I have a question for you - your friend has apparently decided you have sleep apnea, but have you seen a doctor? You may have sleep apnea, but you might also have other problems which a sleep test would show and a test would also tell you what pressure range of Cpap air to use (or not). It might be a very good idea to at least talk to your doctor before just going ahead on your own.
