Looks as if would be a great travel machine.
However, there does not appear to be any provision for in integrated humidifier.
A separate passover unit would be the solution to that requirement.
I'd like to see more information on the reported data.

This thing looks great! Even for a daily cpap machine. The battery is very well integrated and the thing lasts all night on a charge. And the display is even better than the one on my PR1!!!!

Perhaps one could 'adapt' one of those 'waterless humidifier' fittings from a Transcend machine onto the hosing. Better than nothing.

Enough people are going to flock to this canned solution for camping and such that other companies will have to take notice and have to offer something competative. Free market economics mean to sell, each will have to do something to outshkne the others. Dehumidifier from one, two day battery from another till they each hit on the active lifestyle model improving as time voes by. A three day battery that can be recharged from the car and a small humidifier and we will all want one. Kudos for this 1st model that will drive the market for those challenged enough to rig it all themselves from spare parts. Hope they make some major bling for tuning into the customers desires. It is light enough even for an overnight backpacking trip.

On cpap.com they have it listed as coming with 2 HMEs ( https://www.cpap.com/productpage/z1-tra ... chine.html ). Not a humidifier but itv will do in a pinch

It looks like the filter is a mess. It is hard to imagine how someone looked at other machines on the market and came up with a bunch of holes that can't be filtered very well.

It also only works to 45 deg C. Every check the high temps for many parts of the world? I guess not.

Also no APAP.

cpap.com posted pricing info. Kind of premium $ but if you want the smallest, most portable, with a battery it makes sense. Especially if you travel, camp, etc... I think they will sell a bunch of these.

45c is 113F. Who sleeps in 115F temperatures? If you are sleeping in 115F you have much bigger problems than sleep apnea...

Looks like a couple c-notes more than my travel blower.
Both the unit and the power shell appears to be a bit over a grand.
A little steeper than my entire travel setup, and straight cpap.
I am so spoiled by auto.

OK. I did the math on what never having to plug-in would mean. I assume this machine will be operable for 5 years. The result of dividing the cost of the machine + the battery over 5 years= .60¢ per day.

But I'm sure the battery will lose its juice after 1.5 years so...

Let's add a few more batteries. Let's say they are $250 each...

That adds up to $1750-ish. Even then I am only paying .82¢ per day. Seriously? If the reviews are good I am buying one. For me it makes sense.

How about putting the words "Leak Warning" on the display instead of "Reminder" if there's excessive air leakage? What's with these guys, anyways *smile*? If I saw "Reminder" on my cpap display, I'd be wracking my brain to try to remember what I had forgotten to do, and probably never get back to sleep. And they mention this as a feature, like "Reminder" on the display is going to wake you up as much as the leak itself? Makes no sense to me at all...

The videos look good and the price isn't all that horrible. I wonder how you clean the HME? Soap?

I cannot fathom why in all these years Respironics and Resmed haven't developed a travel machine like this! My PR1 looks like a big shoebox compared to this machine.

This thing is so small it would be great on the nightstand too. So unobtrusive. If it was an auto, I would seriously consider it as a daily driver machine. For travel this thing looks absolutely perfect. It would be great for truckers or camping too.
