Ruby Red Chin Strap Critique

I have had dry mouth due to recirculation (I use a Swift II with nose pillows) for quite some time. I taped up my mouth for several months. That wore me out, so much trouble, I was sick of it. Even taping up didn't solve the problem all the time. The tape would get wet and come off, just a real pain in the ass. I got discouraged, quit taping, and just put up with the problem. For the last year or so I have been waking up 3 to 4 times a night, mouth extremely dry, needing a drink bad. I read a post on here the other day regarding the Ruby Red chin strap and ordered one, thinking it was probably a waste of money. I feel like I've hit a home run with this strap. I've used it for 3 nights now, no dry mouth, slept 10 hours straight, did not wake up. Thanks to the people on this site, it appears my problem is solved. I recommend this strap to anyone that has problems with mouth breathing and currently taping. Thank you so much.

Yes Ruby is my go to chinstrap when I know I need strong chin support. Lately I can get away with a ResMed or Respironics chinstrap, but the Ruby Red is the best on the market in terms of stopping jaw drop and mouth farts that lead to dry mouth.

It is very nice the Ruby red is working for you but could you please tell me how do you do to avoid the Ruby to get embedded in your face each night that mask makes huge marks on my face.

Sadly I started mouth breathing after having lost weight and now my tongue is no more able to block the air against the mouth roof and me too I woke up with the mouth so dry that it makes me cough and feel choking because of the dryness. The moment I'm dozing mu big mouth opens

You probably have the wrong size. I have a medium face and had to order the Extra Large because they run small.
Another thing you can do along with you chin strap is to place a small hardish pillow or dog toy under your chin to keep it from
dropping down.
