Hi everyone, I've been using (and liking) my Tap Pap fr the past couple of nights. Last night I managed to disconnect the short Tap Pap hose from my ClimateLine hose. Is this common? I am still getting used to having the hose behind my head and I know it is a learning thing, but it seems the connection to the CL hose is not secure.

Re: question about Tap Pap
I had the short hose come off the Climateline a bit too easy myself. All I needed to do was cram it in a little further and it stayed put. If that doesn't work for you maybe add a bit of plumbers tape around the end of the Tap Pap hose to make it just a little tighter fit in the Climateline so it won't pull out so easily.
I suppose anything that would stick to the short hose part going into the long hose to make it a little snugger fit would work.
It never happened with the PR S1 heated or regular hose. It was just with the Climateline that it was just a bit loose.

Re: question about Tap Pap
Tino, I had the same type of problem with my tappap but the other end. The short hose end that attached to the mask kept coming off so I just used plumbers Teflon tape around the mask joint and put the short hose back on and haven't had a problem since. My next problem was the screw end broke off and I had to order a new one from cpap.com. Good thing I had ordered a second tappap mask from them so had a place to steal the spare parts from . Now when the replacement screw comes in I can just put it back on my spare mask... good idea having two of everything these days.
Good luck
Nan

Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.
Re: question about Tap Pap
I agree Nan, While I only have one Tap Pap, I have three Swifts and as I said, I really like the mask. I will try the plumbers tape trick and see what tonight brings.

Re: question about Tap Pap
I use a Ruby chin strap to which I have sewn a piece of velcro at the top - this holds the hose in place nicely. Not sure that the chin strap is working for it's intended purpose, but it does well at hose control!
