Have ResScan software, now what to do with data

Post by rdavidp » Mon Aug 11, 2014 6:41 pm

I have downloaded and installed the ResScan software, version 4.01.013. I plugged the SD card into the slot in my computer and was able to pull up the data. I have statistcal information that is the same as what I view in the little window of my CPAP machine, and then I have a whole bunch of graphs with all sorts of squiggly lines and curves. What do I do with this data, what is it telling me? What is flow, flow limitation, and minute ventilation? I figured out how to view the graphs down up close, i.e. minutes, seconds.

Here are a couple of statistical reports to start with.

On the second night of using the machine, I figured out how to set the mask style in the setup screen and run mask fit.

The first two nights, the AHI was good, but the last two nights the AHI is above 5 though this is only 4 days worth of data.

Take some time to read this guide and see how many questions are left unanswered.
