New ResMed Airsense 10 - "Foamgate"

The "foamgate" thing....probably would have been better served in the body of your original text as an explanation as to why you are now using the ResMed.

The way it is stated now....if people saw this for the first time they might be thinking that the ResMed machines also have an issue with the foam....which is sort of true because of the past history with ResMed and their foam and the ozone cleaner machines. Were you aware of that history?

And you weren't being ridiculed... You are going to learn that the forum members often speak bluntly and sometimes people take it the wrong way or take offense to it but trust me.....blunt doesn't always equal ridicule.
What I was going to say was a whole lot blunter...you probably would have had hurt feelings from it as well but it wasn't the intent.
I just speak bluntly more times than not. It is just the way I talk...and sometimes people do take it the wrong way but that's their problem that I can't do anything about. It's extremely rare that I actually want to hurt someone's feeling but sometimes it happens.

ResMed doesn't market their AirSense 10 machines as S10....there are no S10 machines listed at the ResMed website.
S10 is something that others came up with and I see it already with people talking about S11....there aren't any S11's either.
There are some of us here who are sticklers for correct terminology being used because it lessens the chance of confusion about something. This stuff is confusing enough without clouding things with incorrect terminology. I am one of those people who is a stickler for people using the correct terminology.

You were corrected...not made fun of. I have seen these guys really make fun of someone and what was said here doesn't come close to what I have seen from them in the past. You got your feelings hurt and saw intent that really wasn't there....that's on you.
Advice and correction delivered bluntly and not sugar coated doesn't mean ridiculed. Just means blunt and to the point.
Now when they start calling you names or stupid or challenging your IQ level or where you live or stuff like that...that's ridicule.

Could the corrections have been "gentler"....sigh...maybe but when I look at what was said and what I was going to say....mine was with an even bigger 2 X 4.
Some members here aren't so much worried about the feel good thing as they are about being factually correct thing.
They worry less about "feelings" and more about "facts".

If you don't like the way they "talk"....put them on your Foe list and simply don't read what they say.

"S10" is/was a Chevy pickup.
If there is a problem, you will hear from GM's legal team.
In any case, whatever they call it now, it may not fit on your nightstand.
